Position Overview

The Head Waiter is a dynamic role combining supervisory responsibilities with hands-on service. This position requires leadership, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily dining room operations ensuring a seamless and professional guest experience.
• Serve as a point of support for servers helping address guest needs and resolving service issues promptly.
• Monitor the timing of food and beverage service to maintain an efficient workflow.

Service Excellence

• Deliver an unparalleled level of service stepping in to serve guests as needed during peak times.
• Showcase in-depth knowledge of the menu making recommendations and addressing inquiries.
• Ensure tables are well-maintained clean and beautifully presented throughout service.

Team Support and Leadership

• Guide and mentor the server team to uphold service standards and professionalism.
• Provide real-time feedback and encouragement to foster a collaborative and efficient work environment.
• Step in as a waiter when necessary to assist the team during busy periods or staff shortages.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a senior server captain or similar supervisory role in a fine dining or upscale restaurant.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to manage a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
